The Hotel Provincial was chosen as the host hotel for our annual social event which was held in New Orleans the last weekend of September, 2009. Being a local New Orleanean and head of the host committee, one of my jobs was to find a facility which would sufficiently accommodate our group's needs---part of which turned out to be over 55 rooms. The Hotel Provincial exceeded our group's expectations in every aspect. From the courteous and helpful staff to the individual room accommodations and hotel amenities, we could not have been more satisfied with our choice. The Provincial's location makes it ideal as it is but blocks away from the heart of the French Quarter yet nestled in a more quiet corner of it. Most anything you would want to see can be easily accessed within a 15 minute stroll from the Provincial. And it's picturesque courtyard and inviting swimming pools were a sanctuary for us all in those dog days of summer here in the Big Easy.
Besides the professional staff, great location and the beauty of this jewel of a property, I was blessed to have had the pleasure of working with the Provincial's most charming sales director, Margie Mack. Her dedication to assisting our group's needs in every imaginable way was nothing short of phenomenal. I cannot thank Margie enough for her many talents and the efforts she provided which made our event such a rousing success. Merci beaucoup !
