May. 21, 2015 : Hotel Provincial is a Jewel in the French Quarter. Close to every attraction, soft beds and hot morning showers. The staff is awesome, wonderful bartenders in the ice house. The location is awesome you will not move the car, parking onsite and pricing typical with the area 27$. Irene's Fine Italian around the corner Angeline next door, you can't go wrong. Love this Hotel.

May. 19, 2015 : This was our first time to stay at the Provincial and we enjoyed it. We recently gave an apartment lease so that we could stay in various hotels, and we will return to the Provincial.

May. 19, 2015 : My friend called recently and wanted to get away. He had a whole list. It had to be in the French Quarter and in walking distance of all major sites. It had to have a beautiful courtyard with a fountain. It had to be in the next month and at a reasonable rate yet still be clean, modern and quiet. When I first stated looking I thought this was not possible but then I found the Hotel Provincial. The bonus was an attached bar and two for one drink coupon. A great relaxer after a long day traveling.

May. 19, 2015 : Could not have been better. We were two middle age ladies having a get away. This location was well worth the money. We could walk to everything. The hotel staff was excellent in all matters. They even had a lift to put a person with disabilities in and out of the pool. I used this because I have new knees that don't work to well. Love this place. Recommend to all.

May. 19, 2015 : We loved staying at Hotel Provincial. The room was lovely and clean. The front desk was super helpful. We were able to get right into our room (early even! ) before heading out into the French Quarter. The hotel was in a great location. close to Bourbon street but far enough away to be quiet at night. The hotel is very close to Cafe Du Monde. The hotel bar was very nice too. The bartender was very friendly and knowledgeable. We would stay here again!

May. 13, 2015 : GREAT place!! Always stay here. The charm and location of the French Quarter.

May. 13, 2015 : I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who travels to New Orleans. Right when my fiance and I arrived, about 4 hours before check-in time, we left our luggage at the front counter and explored the courtyard and pools, which were absolutely charming. We were greeted by staff member Shirleen who offered to find us a room that was available right away. She put us in a beautiful room (219) in the main building with a view facing the main street, where we were able to see carriages, ghost tours and even a parade go by right outside of our window. The rooms were comfortably air conditioned, couldn't hear any street traffic when the windows were shut and it had a beautiful bathroom. Another perk of this place is that they offer a continental breakfast: fresh bagels, muffins, danishes, fruit, hard-boiled eggs and cereal. The location as well was a great plus to this hotel. Two blocks from Jackson Square and Burbon Street. Less than a mile away from Frenchmen Street and everything you would want within the French Quarter. Overall, this was an amazing experience and I can't wait to come back and stay here again

May. 11, 2015 : We had a wonderful stay. Took a cab from the airport, never needed a car! Room had old charm and the staff was helpful and friendly. Nice little bar with some terrific bartenders that make you feel like you're a regular. Loved the little courtyards and pools. I would recommend this place to anyone!

May. 11, 2015 : We loved our stay at this quaint older hotel in the French Quarter. The rooms were beautiful, the staff extremely helpful, and the hotel was in a perfect location. I highly recommend it and will return to stay there again.

Apr. 22, 2015 : We stayed 5 days the beginning of April. A great location just a couple blocks from Jackson Square and Bourbon St, but Chartes St. is a quiet side street. The hotel is actually several buildings and has several small courtyards and a large courtyard. Two outdoor pools that weren't heated and so were really too cold to swim in the beginning of April, though my daughter did a little bit, as did a few other kids. The rooms are decorated in period furniture and were pretty and comfortable. Breakfast is included and was simple but adequate. The staff were very kind and helpful. The best part of the hotel are the charming courtyards and the great location. I highly recommend this hotel and will stay again!

Apr. 22, 2015 : Every time we visit New Orleans we stay at the Hotel Provincial. Ideal location, easy car parking, comfortable accommodations, excellent breakfast, and best of all the "great" staff. You could not find a more pleasant and accommodating by veteran personnel like Sherlane and bellman David. As usual we had a wonderful stay and highly recommend this hotel.

Apr. 20, 2015 : We stayed at the Hotel Provincial for spring break last week. The hotel was clean, charming and in an excellent location. We could see the Mississippi River from our window and hear the steamboat whistles as the boats went by. The staff was excellent - very friendly and very accommodating. We enjoyed the lobby bar and the 2 pools were great! We will definitely stay here again on our next visit!

Apr. 20, 2015 : Excellent accommodations in an old world atmosphere. Bed is very comfortable. Rooms are clean. Entire staff is attentive. Bar is fun. Continental breakfast is just OK but there are lots of options within easy walking distance. for me, this is the best place to stay in the French Quarter. I am a Quarter Rat and FQF is a staycation for us. This is the sixth year we have stayed at Hotel Provincial for FQF. We love it and will be back next year.

Apr. 1, 2015 : Before anyone books a hotel room in the French Quarter, they MUST realize that they will be in a very "vocal" pedestrian neighborhood that has a late-night crowd to it. You surrender ANY right to complain about the street noise if you stay in this neighborhood. Our room was directly on Chartres Street (#217), and although it was noisy until about 1 AM, we were fine with that. You can request a room towards the back of the hotel if you need quiet. Having said that, this location is absolutely perfect if you plan on exploring the French Quarter and having a central base for exploring New Orleans. You are just two blocks from Bourbon Street, and less than three blocks from Jackson Square. The hotel itself is very old-world - and I mean that in the best way. This is NOT a chain hotel - this one feels as it would have many years ago, only with modern conveniences. Plenty of hot water, a comfortable bed, and enough room for two people to move around. The staff was eager to please and offered to take care of all issues. In fact, when we checked out at 11 AM, the "bellboy" (what is the proper word anymore?) offered to call us a cab to arrive at 1 PM to take us to the airport. There was absolutely nothing to complain about - I HIGHLY recommend this hotel, and we will definitely look to stay here again!!

Mar. 30, 2015 : I have stayed at Hotel Provincial several times. I love the quiet location. My most recent stay was the best yet. I wish I had written down the names of a couple of people who really went over and above in service, but I forgot. Our room was WONDERFUL, and we had a great stay.
