Apr. 26, 2017 : Hotel Provincial is located ideally in the French Quarter within walking distance to everything that we wanted to see so no car was necessary. The room was spacious and very comfortable and the staff was warm, friendly and very helpful. The beautiful courtyard was definitely a plus. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.
Apr. 24, 2017 : My husband and I came to New Orleans for a wedding. We didn't realize what a gem we booked when we selected the Hotel Provincial. Amazing location, quiet street, friendly staff. Will definitely stay here again.
Apr. 24, 2017 : The Provincial is not a hotel, it's my second home. I've been there 8 times in the last 10 years and I'm always welcomed with open arms. Sherlane treats me as if I'm part of the family every time I visit, as does Etienne & James. They make the best drinks in the quarter. Their hurricanes are from scratch NOT like the powdered mix you get at Pat O'Brien's. I especially appreciate the fact that it's not a "high rise" in the noisiest part of the Quarter- It's more residential and, soooo charming!
Apr. 24, 2017 : My wife and I love to stay here. Great location and the staff go way beyond to make you feel at home. We have stayed here many times and will return. I am now just adding some more character because saying everything is great is not enough to meet the character requirments. Just stay here you will not regret it.
Apr. 6, 2017 : Great location, close to Jackson Square and to the French Market, and right between two wonderful restaurants, Irene's and Angeline (highly recommend both). Staff was friendly and helpful, and the room.(King bed on 3rd floor of building 5) was clean and we had a view of the River from our window! On site secure parking was definitely a plus. Also, bartender made some great drinks! Great experience. Stayed here once before in 2001, and had a great experience then, too. Will definitely be staying here again!
Apr. 1, 2017 : Planning a visit to NOLA, it would not be complete without staying at the Hotel Provincial! No strangers to hotels in NOLA, this hotel proved to be head and shoulders about the rest! Quaint, elegant, quiet and yet right in the middle of everything the Quarter has to offer! The staff were veyr friendly and helpful! The bartender..he knew his craft well! We enjoyed a New Orleans Sazarac before heading out into the Quarter. I can't wait to visit again! If you want a visit that can both put you in the center of the activities and the quiet of home, when you settle in, THIS is the place for you!! Thank you, so much, for an amazing visit!! Tracey, Lisa and Autumn
Mar. 30, 2017 : Stayed at HP for the third time in four years, and will book there again the next time we come. Service was friendly and efficient at all levels throughout our stay. David delivered the car in minutes with a smile every time we needed it. Location is short walk to all things French Quarter and Marigny, yet more quiet at night than other places we've stayed. At least four places to eat breakfast within a block or so in each direction
Mar. 30, 2017 : My family LOVES this French Quarter hotel. From the perfect location, to the accommodating staff, to the comfortable rooms, there is nothing not to love. The only bad thing is when we have to leave. This is our French Quarter home!!!
Mar. 29, 2017 : Just got back from first visit to New Orleans. We chose this hotel based on Trip Advisor reviews - there were no negative reviews...not one! - and I'm glad we did. The location is wonderful - quiet, while just one block away from the "action," great restaurants just down the street, or a block or two away, two blocks from Jackson Square, I could go on and on. We stayed in a room on the second floor facing the courtyard. The beds were sooo comfortable, and the room felt spacious. The staff was super friendly and professional from the first phone call with my 100 questions before booking through to the end of our stay- shout out to Mike, Brendan, Dana and the lovely Trudy. Among the amenities are a pool we never used, and the bar that we did. And in case you are wondering, the room was equipped with a real hair dryer and a full size ironing board and real iron. No coffee machines in the room, but there is coffee available (free of charge) for hotel guests all morning and until the bar opens for happy hour at 3pm. I can recommend Hotel Provincial with full confidence. I don't know when I will be visiting New Orleans again, but I would certainly return to Hotel Provincial . Thank you Hotel Provincial
Mar. 27, 2017 : Wonderful hotel with character and great location. Quiet, yet in walking distance to Jackson Square, Decatur and Bourbon streets and all the action. Staff was courteous and helpful with tours, transportation. Enjoyed complimentary coffee in the quaint courtyard each morning. No onsite dining, but not a problem given location. Visit Angeline's next door for French Quarter dining. Will definitely be my place to stay on my next visit 😊
Mar. 27, 2017 : Apart from a charming room with a great shared balcony, the welcoming and attentive staff made our stay here most enjoyable. My sisters and I had a very positive experience. The hotel is in a great location, the staff knowledgeable and the bar great for a little refreshment. Additionally, the coffee (served in the bar from 10:00 pm to 3:00 pm) was delicious.
Mar. 21, 2017 : This is a beautiful historical hotel located just one block away from Jackson Square. The rooms are quiet, the people are courteous, the restaurant is truly wonderful. We enjoyed all our visits and will stay there again in the future.
Mar. 20, 2017 : This is a hidden gym of a hotel. It is our go to hotel in the French Quarter. Easy access to the market and all the activities, yet quiet and quaint. The rooms are unique and you have multiple options for styles and views.
Mar. 20, 2017 : The hotel is amazing! The staff was fantastic! Everything was pleasant. I have stayed in a few different hotels but this one is the best so far!
Mar. 20, 2017 : Had room off the courtyard (as opposed to the pool) and it was charming - wrought iron furniture, fountain and twinkling lights in the trees. Room was lovely and comfortable and quiet. Nice bar and bartender very helpful with finding good eats! All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Very professionally run. Couldn't have been better - well, would have liked a little to nosh on for breakfast but we were pretty close to Café du Monde so worked out perfectly. Next time in N.O. won't even bother to try another hotel. PS - price was very reasonable for such an exceptional experience.
