May. 23, 2016 : Two girlfriends and I stayed at Hotel Provincial this past April from the 17th thru the 22nd. We were pleasantly surprised at the comfort of the room. Usually with older buildings the rooms are small and just barely enough for two people but we had a 2 queen room on the second floor facing the pool. A week with 3 woman in 1 room and we all made it home alive! haha! Very comfortable beds, convenience to the pool and courtyard (which is beautiful, day or night!) Friendly staff and courteous management. (The coffee was good to!) Bryan, the owner, went above and beyond to make sure we had every convenience. Would difinately stay here again and would recommend this hotel to anyone planning a trip to NOLA!
May. 23, 2016 : An historic property in a quiet section of the French Quarter with lots of local flavor and character. It has the usual quirks of an historic property, but that's just part of the charm. It has a small bar, and the bartenders are excellent in their craft and have a wealth of local knowledge. Conveniently located a block from the French Market and the Riverfront streetcar station. Easy walk to the shops on Royal and the debauchery of Bourbon Street. Great place!
May. 18, 2016 : Hotel Provincial is a lovely hotel on a quieter street with everything in the French Quarter within easy walking distance. Having traveled extensively we found this hotel to have the most comfortable bed we have ever stayed in. Very clean and the staff were very helpful. The bartender was excellent as well.
May. 18, 2016 : This is a fabulous location for many places including Bourbon Street, Frenchman Street , Cafe DuMonde, Jackson Square, French Market, many restaurants, and shopping. The hotel is quaint and can accommodate many people. It has a nice courtyard to relax with coffee. The pool was great to cool off your feet after a walking day.
May. 18, 2016 : This hotel is in the thick of the quarter and it has wonderful ambiance. Great service and good prices. You can get to many places in the quarter from this location very easily. Also the hotel has several courtyards so you and your friends can enjoy the evenings outside when the weather is nice. Good restaurant with fabulous mimosa's
May. 16, 2016 : This was our second time visiting NOLA and we love Frenchman St. So this hotel was a perfect location. The rooms are very clean and staff is helpful. We took advantage of the pool, which was a nice treat after a long. Would definitely go back to Hotel Provincial.
May. 16, 2016 : The location is prefect, right in the French Quarter. The staff and service are very nice. The pool was very relaxing and the room we stayed in had updated finishes. Hotel Provincial is our go to spot when we are staying in NOLA.
May. 16, 2016 : We had a very nice stay this past week; our rooms were modern & well appointed (wifi, upscale linens, giant tv, etc). They were spotless (clean), the staff was insanely nice / accommodating and the price was great. The Provincial is very well maintained - as nice as any 4/5 star hotel I've visited (I travel often). While always fun, the French Quarter can be sketch - so it was great to find this place. The poolside & courtyard vista was very pleasant and all our fellow guests were happy as well. We will definitely stay here again - 100% Recommended!
May. 11, 2016 : Such a beautiful and gracious hotel. Far enough from the crazy of bourbon street but an easy walk to everything. Right next to an old convent. Beautiful exposed brick wall and fireplace, comfortable bed and pillows and very clean updated bathroom. The staff from the front desk to the bellman were so helpful throughout my entire stay. I highly recommend.
May. 11, 2016 : The staff at the hotel was amazing. Housekeeping was more than helpful with my daughter's wedding dress. They found a special room for it, Made sure we had access during the specific time the dress was needed, and were so complimentary and just plain nice. It was an amazing time and the staff, all of them, made it so much easier. Great courtyard area to relax.
May. 10, 2016 : This is where I like to stay because it's a bit removed from the tourist and Bourbon street crowds, but it's still in the center of the action in the French Quarter, but steps from cool local flare by the Frenchman Street bars and the still rough-around-the-edges Treme neighborhood. It's also the most affordable spot for your buck with a lot of history and the New Orleans charm. Their restaurant Angeline had one of the best brunches we had in NOLA and my husband and I frequented the hotel's "Ice Bar," where both bartenders Etienne and James make by far the best Sazerac, Hurricane, and Bloody Mary in the entire city, not to mention their local tips and conversation added to the experience.
May. 3, 2016 : We enjoyed very comfortable accommodations in the French Quarter. We walked to Cafe Dumond, the French Market, the Mississippi River. There are restaurants within easy walking distance. We even walked to the World War !! museum which was excellent. The staff was attentive and friendly. Parking is available at the hotel for a fee. When I return to New Orleans, I will stay at this comfortable hotel.
May. 2, 2016 : Everything about the Hotel Provincial was great! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean with great views and the pools are very nice as well. The bartender in the Ice Room bar makes delicious drinks. The hotel even held our luggage for us on the day of checkout because we had a later flight and wanted to do a boat tour. I highly recommend this hotel! it is also in the perfect location within the French Quarter.
May. 2, 2016 : Fantastic location, walking distance to everything, but far enough away from the wee hours noise. Staff is the best at every level. Beautiful relaxing courtyard.Lovely decor. Not your typical French Quarter Hotel. Immaculate.
May. 2, 2016 : Excellent location, is walking distance to Jackson Square. Friendly staff. Clean, comfortable and quiet rooms. We had a great breakfast at the Angeline Restaurant next door. We would definitely stay here again.
