Jun. 2, 2014 : We really love your Hotel. Our son was married in the courtyard in 2008 and we have returned 4 times since then. It's almost like family to see Sherlane, Etienne (who catered our son's wedding), Margie Mack and also the valet, David (I can't remember any other names). It's a real tribute to your hotel that you have the same loyal employees year after year. We will return next year and we always recommend the Provincial to all our friends.
Jun. 2, 2014 : Our family goes to New Orleans twice a year and have since the '80's. That's when Hotel Provincial stole our hearts. From the service, to the rooms, to the relaxing courtyard everything is perfect and is a place we can relax and feel comfortable. Plus they have the BEST Bloody Mary ever in their Icehouse bar. Hotel Provincial is centrally located in the heart of the French Quarters so everything is within walking distance. Can't wait for our family to meet up again for another stay at Christmas this year. Always look forward to David greeting us when we pull up to the hotel. The staff is wonderful!
Apr. 28, 2014 : Another amazing stay at the Provincial, keep up the good work. See you again soon ...
Apr. 10, 2014 : My wife and I had brought our two boys with as a Graduation gift for one of them to see the WWE 30th Anniv. Celebration. We could not have asked for a better location for all of the sites and sounds of New Orleans. We were able to walk all over with no problems and felt safe at all times. We even walked to the Cadilac Super Dome for the Event and then walked back to Bourbon Street. It was our first time in New Orleans and it was a great experience.
Apr. 3, 2014 : We had an excellent time in New Orleans French Quarter, and some of it was because of the Hotel the Provincial. The staff was warm and friendly, the room was quiet, clean and had a feeling of the French Quarter. The location to all the attractions was perfect, not more than a few very short blocks to the French Marker, Bourbon Street, Jackson Square and Royal Street. The bartender made the best Hurricane in the city, much better than Paddy O's!!! We enjoyed the light breakfast before we left on our adventures every morning. We brought our laptop to keep track of things...and the wifi in the room was very strong. We rented a car, they had great parking on site...and never used the car because everything was so close to walk to! We would absolutely recommend this hotel, and will come back in the future.
Mar. 29, 2014 : Quaint little hotel. Perfect little getaway for honeymoon.
Mar. 24, 2014 : Seriously the cutest hotel. Trust me I'm a Westin/5 star kinda traveler. I was a little nervous booking this place and man was I wrong. The rooms are nice, and beds are amazing. What an amazing stay here! Can't wait to come back!!!!!
Mar. 6, 2014 : Having never been to New Orleans before we really didn't know what to expect from a hotel in the French Quarter. We did a lot of research and decided not to go with a safe "big chain" type hotel and booked the Hotel Provincial for a group of 11. Months before the trip I emailed the hotel and asked a few questions and got immediate answers. A few days before we arrived the hotel phoned to confirm our reservation. This excellent service continued once we arrived. The hotel itself is breathtaking. Incredible architecture mixed with modern upgrades. The check in was fast and friendly, a staff member showed us to our rooms and the rooms were exactly what we had asked for. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the plumbing was very modern, the courtyard pool outside our rooms was beautiful. We arrived as Mardi Gras was just getting underway and we were less than a 5 minute walk from all the action. The bar off the lobby is a quaint gathering place at night and serves as a place to get coffee in the mornings. The staff arranged transportation to the Cruise Terminal for us when our stay ended and the ride was fast and reasonable from the hotel. This was possibly one of the best hotel experiences we have had in many years because of the historic design of the hotel, the courteousness of the staff and the charm of people from New Orleans.
Feb. 23, 2014 : Delightful! Thank you, especially at the front desk, for making our stay great!
Feb. 19, 2014 : Hotel Provincial is in the French Quarter, walking distance to everything. It is not the sterile highrise atmosphere of the chain hotels, which is fine with us. It has a lot of New Orleans charm and authenticity, very friendly employees who go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. The continental breakfast was excellent but my husband made the comment that there were no bananas, they had them for him that afternoon. The room was very clean and comfortable, it had a small balcony overlooking the street. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will come back again.
Feb. 18, 2014 : Best place to stay in NOLA The hotel and staff were so kind and welcoming! They were quick to suggest great spots to eat and call to make reservations. Breakfast was perfect and the setting was so beautiful. In walking distance of everything, and just a bit off the beaten path of Bourbon street, which made for a nice quiet evening. Will definitely be staying here again in the future!
Feb. 16, 2014 : Great hotel!!! The staff was great all the way around from the front desk to the valet. They were all very nice and informative. They had great suggestions for restaurants and give awesome directions. We will be back and will make it a point to stay at this hotel. It is also in the perfect location.
Jan. 28, 2014 : Amazing!!!
