Mar. 11, 2016 : Charming and clean. The location was perfect for us being close to the river and Decatur Street and Frenchmen St as well. A couple short blocks from Jackson Square and Royal St too. We walked everywhere and had a blast. It was great coming back to a clean secure place to sleep and get ready for the next day. The bartender was the nicest guy and poured a fair drink as well. The staff was friendly and diligent. We loved it and will be coming back.

Mar. 10, 2016 : Loved our weekend getaway to New Orleans. Would stay here again, 10 minutes to walk to Jazz, the craziness of Bourbon Street, the waterfront. Very close to Jackson Square and the French Market.
Mar. 10, 2016 : Very clean, excellent service from extremely friendly employees, convenient to the French Quarter and Frenchman Street. Bedding and towels top-notch. Will definitely go back!
Mar. 4, 2016 : This hotel is far different from other commercial hotels I've stayed at in New Orleans before. We were in walking distance to Jackson Square and all the other nearby attractions. The court yard was adorable! And the rooms and doors had old style southern charm. The pool was also beautiful. I would definitely come back to this hotel when visiting Nola again.
Mar. 1, 2016 : My husband suggested New Orleans for a February trip. Hotel Provincial was perfect for us. The staff were friendly and engaging upon check in and throughout our stay. When we inquired one day about the walk to a cemetery tour we were taking they produced a map, showed us the best way to get there, and nicely answered our questions. The central location of the hotel in the French Quarter was perfect. We were able to walk everywhere, although we did take the car for some short trips outside the city. We found the in and out process with the car very quick and easy; I imagine a bit more time might be needed during the busier season. As noted on the hotel website, the hotel is comprised of several different buildings. We stayed in a King room with a shared balcony. The balcony was accessed through a very large window; we found this charming and spent one pleasant warm (it may have been unseasonably warm for this time of year or have seemed so to us New Hampshirites) morning having breakfast, reading, and seeing the street below wake up. One thought for light sleepers: the city of New Orleans cleans the streets early in the morning; at least I noticed this several times during our stay so if you like sleeping in you might consider a room away from the street. We had a wonderful time during our stay in New Orleans and thank Hotel Provincial for their hospitality. If we ever return to New Orleans I would book our stay there again.
Feb. 29, 2016 : Beautiful hotel!! We plan to go back and stay for at least a week. Too much to see and do! We loved this hotel and New Orleans!!! You have to try Coops if you want great Cajun food. Bourbon St is only 2 blocks away from hotel.
Feb. 29, 2016 : My fiance and I stayed at the Hotel Provincial and had a wonderful experience. We were right in the Quarter and so close to all the nightlife, but the hotel's location meant we had zero issues with noise when we were finally ready to turn in. The staff were all phenomenally accommodating and friendly. This will be our go-to when we go back.
Feb. 29, 2016 : The hotel was in a good part of the city. We felt quite safe. Staff were very nice and helpful.
Feb. 25, 2016 : Quaint hotel , clean and great people , within walking distance of all activities and transportation. On premise resterant was excellent Near the French market area and much less crowded Highly recommend
Feb. 24, 2016 : Staying in the Provincial Hotel lets you know you are in New Orleans. My friends & I enjoyed the atmosphere so very much. It was like going back in time. Additionally, it was in walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go in the French Quarter.
Feb. 24, 2016 : We loved this hotel and the charming atmosphere. Check-in was a breeze and we stayed in 212 facing Chartres. We had a great view of the street and the surrounding neighborhood. The room was well decorated and the bed was very comfortable. We especially loved how we could open our windows and hear all of the action outside. We had a great time and visiting all of the sites and had some drinks at the hotel bar as well. Great little bar and very entertaining bartender. The location of the hotel is perfect for walking all over the FQ. We also loved that you are far enough away from Bourbon to avoid a lot of the noise. Thank you Hotel Provincial for and amazing stay and a memorable one! My Fiance proposed to me in our room on Valentines Day and I am sure we will come back to re-live the memories.
Feb. 24, 2016 : The location was perfect in the Quarter. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Check in and out was easy. The hotel has everything you need from a bar and restaurant to courtyards and pools. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Feb. 24, 2016 : This was my first time traveling to New Orleans, so I wasn't sure if I had picked the best hotel. But I'm so glad I went with Hotel Provincial, it's a beautiful quintessential New Orleans hotel. The room was clean and the bathroom very modern and clean. The location was close to many of the popular locations in the French Quarter. I walked everywhere during my stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel for others and I plan to visit again.
Feb. 23, 2016 : Great hotel, we had a quiet room overlooking a courtyard. You forget you're in New Orleans! Room was clean and modern, while courtyards were quaint and inviting. I felt as though we were on a movie set. I would highly recommend.
