Jan. 8, 2016 : It was fabulous!! We will definitely stay there again!!
Jan. 8, 2016 : You can't beat the location for access to the French Quarter and Bourbon Street. The rooms are top notch! Very clean and comfortable! The staff is outstanding!
Jan. 7, 2016 : In June of 2015 group of 12 Harleys took a road trip to New Orleans . While searching for a hotel I came across several options for the French Quarters/Bourbon Street area. I was not sure which hotel to go with. Based on the reviews and the great location I chose the Hotel Provincial. Let me tell you we were NOT DISAPPOINTED! We love love love this place! I worked with Margie and Erika beginning in November of 2014 to get all the rooms we needed reserved. We stayed in building 5. The rooms were very comfortable and nicely furnished. Four of the rooms we were in all have windows that open to one big balcony that over looks DeCauter St. That was PERFECT for us. We would all sit out there and have coffee in the morning and drinks in the evening. It was a great place for us to hang out and make plans for the day. Also great for people watching! It is within walking distance of Bourbon St, just around the corner from shopping on Decauter St and The French Market. You can also see the river from the rooms facing Decauter St. The on site Ice House Bar was AWESOME. Great drinks and our bartender was fabulous! They even set aside a section of the parking lot away from the cars for all of our bikes. We were allowed to split the parking fee for multiple bikes. I honestly can't say enough good about Hotel Provincial! When (not if) we go back we will most definitely stay there! Thank you for a most amazing stay! PS..... stay away from the "VooDoo" drink at Lafitte’s Blacksmith Shop! It will turn you into a ZOMBIE!!!
Jan. 5, 2016 : We had a great stay, and the hotel was just a short walk from Jackson Square and other points of interest. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful.
Jan. 4, 2016 : We stayed 2 nights in this delightful hotel and would stay again if our travels take us back to New Orleans. The rooms were very nice, the courtyard was charming, the valet was such a nice guy, the location ideal (close to everything, but far enough away to be quiet). Would definitely recommend!
Jan. 4, 2016 : The Provincial Hotel is in an excellent part of the Historic French Quarter- very quiet and yet a short walk to all the "action" and music. I have stayed here off and on for 40 years. I love the location, and size of the hotel, the personal attention and staff who is always helpful, kind, and concerned about my well being, without being too chatty.
Jan. 4, 2016 : What an amazing time. We stayed in the honeymoon suite...the room was absolutely spectacular and everyone involved with this property couldn't have been any nicer or any more accommodating, so thank you to the staff for making our stay the best stay we've ever had!!!!
Jan. 4, 2016 : Have not stayed at the Provincial in many years. How nice to reacquaint ourselves with this wonderful place once again. Same friendly, helpful staff were still here. Rooms comfortable, attractive and perfect ambience to go with one of our favorite cities in the world. Angeline's is 5 Star delicious and a great addition to the property!
Jan. 4, 2016 : We selected he Provincial based upon location and price. It's conveniently located within the quarter, a short walk to Jackson Square and the du Monde. But also next to the Ursunie convent, Angeline restaurant and literally around the corner is Croissant D'or. Valet parking only - be assured they do a great job, I felt very confident leaving my car with them vs parking on my own. Check in was quick and helpful. The bartender made an excellent dirty martini and I slept like a baby in our cozy first floor double (106). Surprisingly quiet at night, the beds were very comfy. The room was spacious enough and a separate bath and toilette made it feel special. I plan to stay a weekend and fully enjoy again. There's a beautiful courtyard and very nice pool which must be nice in the summer
Dec. 30, 2015 : I stay here every time I travel to NOLA. Love it. Beautiful courtyards, pools, quiet, and a nice distance from the more drunken and degenerate aspects of the Quarter--but close enough to walk a block or two and be in the heart of it. Great restaurants nearby too.
Dec. 30, 2015 : This hotel is in a perfect location. The staff are friendly and helpful. Nice bar (Ice Bar) connected to hotel has great happy hour! The room was clean and comfortable and roomy enough for two friends sharing. Would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to the French Quarter in New Orleans.
Dec. 29, 2015 : I have stayed at Hotel Provincial several time when in town!! Everyone is so friendly and helpful. It is centrally located and easy to get in and out of. We have a fabulous room with a balcony looking over Decatur St, all the rooms are well decorated and clean!!
Dec. 28, 2015 : Beautiful historic hotel in prime location within the French Quarter. Close to the French Market, St. Louis Cathedral, and Jackson Square. Lots of good restaurants nearby. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas, the staff was friendly and professional, and the room clean, well furnished, and comfortable. We couldn't be happier.
Dec. 28, 2015 : We had a wonderful stay. The staff was very personable and helpful. The location is excellent; far enough from the madness of Bourbon St. and close to wonderful French Quarter eateries and historical locales, A building with character, nicely appointed, clean, and well-maintained.
Dec. 28, 2015 : One of our best friends, daughter's wedding took place in the next block at Saint Mary's. The reception being at the convent, which is adjacent to St. Mary's and most of the events afterward, for the next four days, were in the French Quarter. The Provincial provided a perfect setting along with convenience for the festivities and great hospitality from the staff. Enjoyed our stay at the Provincial, along with NOLA. GREAT TIME!
