Feb. 3, 2015 : Loved this hotel. I had a room overlooking the interior garden. It was quiet at night, we came for the marathon so this was very important! Perfect location in the French Quarter, just far enough away from the craziness and really close to Frenchman street for live music. Easily walkable to all the sights. Very helpful staff. I will plan to stay again on my next trip!

Feb. 1, 2015 : My wife and I stayed from December 4, through December 6, 2014. The staff were great! Our room was all we hoped for. My sister recommended this hotel and said she missed it over drinks in the Ice House Bar. The Provincial is so 'French Quarter' providing an authentic experience. Many of the guests were repeat customers as well as we all enjoyed coffee in the courtyard and one of the pools. Even the cabbie at the airport knew of how wonderful our stay was going to be as I only had to say "The Provincial in the Quarter." No address was necessary for the ride from the airport as the name speaks for itself. We will return and it will not be soon enough!

Jan. 30, 2015 : Second year in a row staying at the Provincial. As always, they are great!

Jan. 29, 2015 : Wonderful hotel, great charm and fantastic location. Friendly and helpful staff, rooms immaculately clean, good breakfast. Definitely value for money. Walking distance to all the sights in the French Quarter, loved it.

Jan. 22, 2015 : Excellent location, quaint rooms and a wonderful experience. Much better than high-rise hotels. I heartily recommend it. The on-site pub is great and you get to meet people from all over the world. Parking is provided, but can be a bit crowded at times. Local transportation by can or peddle-cab is the best way to get around. Most sites are well within walking distance.

Jan. 19, 2015 : My new "go to" hotel. It's a beautiful establishment and a block from the French Market. Lots of shopping and eateries. The staff was really nice and curtious.

Jan. 14, 2015 : We booked several rooms over the holidays for a family vacation (family of 12). We were thrilled with the Hotel Provincial! Close or within walking distance to everything we wanted to see. Beautiful rooms, super staff, nice breakfast! The whole staff was so accommodating. We were allowed to ship a box early and they held it until we arrived. They accommodated our large group with a later checkout as we were going on a cruise. Would recommend the Hotel Provincial to anyone traveling to NOLA!

Jan. 14, 2015 : Excellent location if you want to be near everything in the French Quarter!

Jan. 12, 2015 : we fell in love with the hotel. everything was perfect in our eyes. was clean! service polite and quick. bartender was very friendly and helpful. everyone was friendly. we really liked the location because we could walk almost everywhere we wanted to visit and felt very safe.

Jan. 12, 2015 : Perfect location in the French Quarter! Clean, comfortable rooms with tons of character and history.

Jan. 12, 2015 : I booked 2 rooms. One for my husband and I and one for another couple. It had been a long time since we had stayed here and I was not disappointed. The staff was very friendly. It is a great location. Lovely courtyard. Rooms were clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend.

Dec. 31, 2014 : My husband and I stayed at this hotel during an overnight trip to New Orleans. It is the best of both worlds with old-time charm and architecture with updated amenities. All of the staff were very polite and knowledgeable about the area. Plus, the gardens were beautiful! If your looking for a place to stay in the French Quarter, I highly recommend the Hotel Provincial.

Dec. 29, 2014 : I try to stay somewhere different each time I go to New Orleans-but I will break that rule in another visit! What a find this place was! Close to French Market but quiet-wonderful architecture-great service. Dana at front desk was really nice. Will stay here again. Thanks!

Dec. 29, 2014 : I am glad that we decided to stay in this beautiful small hotel in the French Quarter, rather than any big chain hotel downtown or elsewhere in the city or near the airport, convention center, etc. The hotel consists of several charming old buildings, beautiful (and up-to-date!) inside and out. Our room in Building 3 was large, pristine clean and had lovely antique furniture. The bathroom was roomy and the towels were thick and generous. I only wish that one of the six pillows on our bed was as squishy as the one I left at home. The staff was so willing to help us enjoy our experience and share their knowledge of the area. I really felt like they cared that we had a great travel experience. From the hotel we had an easy walk to everything the French Quarter has to offer-- music, art, shopping, and delicious food. We would happily return to this hotel in the future.

Dec. 29, 2014 : This was our second stay at the Provincial; it's our hotel of choice within the Quarter. It's on a quieter end of the Quarter, wonderfully close to the French Market and LaTrobe Park and their lighter ambience (unlike boozy, busy Bourbon Street). Old-world charm, clean rooms with excellent bathroom appointments, reliably attentive service, and an exceptional bartender in their in-house bar (he makes the best Hurricane, bar none, but that's the least of his skills). Add in the convenience of on-site parking (though we didn't drive down this time) and tremendous bang for your buck, and I doubt we'll ever choose another hotel for our New Orleans visits.
