Dec. 3, 2014 : Fabulous location! And wonderful staff!
Nov. 25, 2014 : The Hotel Prvincial is a great representative of New Orleans. It is not a hotel chain where every property is stylized; but it is locally owned and operated. In the south, that means personal care those registered there. Our room was quite large, finished for you to remember the original deocor. But at the same time, good air conditioning, WiFi, and other amenities expected by today's traveler. Its location is close to the French Quarter, but not so close as to be disturbed by late night reveliers. Only two block away you will find the street car that runs along the river all the way to downtown, or as far as the New Orleans Convention Center.
Nov. 24, 2014 : So beautiful and so "New Orleans"- the courtyard is picturesque, the rooms clean and roomy (and the bed, comfy!). The concierge staff were incredibly helpful. Did I mention-- love the location! In the quarter but not too busy and nutty. Plus it just a few dorrs down form one of my favorite restaurants. I can NOT say enough good things about my stay. I WILL go back (and can NOT wait!)
Nov. 19, 2014 : So much character in this hotel, one of our favorite places to stay! We had a beautiful suite which was perfect for traveling with our young son. Staff all very friendly and welcoming! Located within walking distance of the riverfront streetcar which was a lot of fun to ride with our son.
Nov. 11, 2014 : We chose The Provincial because of its location and other reviews, and wasn't disappointed on our choice! All of the French Quarter is in easy walking distance! The rooms are very nice and the Staff was always very accommodating! We had a balcony overlooking the street and loved it!
Nov. 10, 2014 : Wow! This hotel superseded my expectations! It was centrally located and within walking distance for most things. The service at this hotel was exceptional, there was nothing that was too much trouble to arrange or to do. The hotel itself is nothing short of amazing, the history and the beauty of it was breathtaking. I loved the little courtyards. It was gorgeous! We had a cold spell while we visited, it was a shame. The pool looked amazing and I would have loved to take a dip, but it was too cold. We enjoyed a continental breakfast every morning and always got a table. We never did partake in the Icehouse Bar, as we had a bit of an agenda every day. I would recommend this hotel, the ornate and detailed furniture were amazing. We had a suite with a courtyard and it was beautiful. Book this hotel, you will not be disappointed!
Nov. 10, 2014 : I loved the location of the hotel on the eastern edge of the Quarter, convenient to everything but low key & quiet. The hotel staff was friendly, helpful & awesome: porters, front desk and particularly our new friend, Etienne who manned the Ice House Bar and was a great source of lore, insider tips, humor and fabulous libations! loved the atmosphere of the hotel and it's style. Clean, pretty, authentic and well-staffed.
Nov. 10, 2014 : Fantastic compound in the perfect French Quarter location. The room had a balcony overlooking Decatur Street and the French Market. Room was generous given the location and historic building status. Quiet, comfortable, clean, and did i mention the inbeleivable location?
Nov. 10, 2014 : I really recommend this hotel. The staff was very nice and full of useful information about the city. The rooms where very clean and cozy. This hotel is in the perfect location rather you want to enjoy some site seeing and shopping or if you want to party; its smack dab in the middle of both! Great find! :)
Nov. 6, 2014 : Nice hotel! Within walking distance of the French Quater, the Mississippi, the Market and Frenchman Street. Cafe du Monde is right down the street. Very nice place and the staff was great. Will definitely be in my top places to stay when in New Orleans.
Nov. 6, 2014 : Having never been to New Orleans before I had no idea where to look for a hotel or, for that matter which area of the city I'd be spending much time in. A friend recommended Hotel Provincial in the French Quarter. The hotel was perfect ... full of history and character, comfortable and reasonably priced for the time of year and neighbourhood. Service was exceptional, and the room decor and furniture simply added to the overall experience. The two pools are beautiful, and the secure parking made us feel very safe. This place is excellent if you're planning on spending time in the French Quarter, being within walking distance of almost everything!
Nov. 6, 2014 : We had stayed 1 night Halloween eve the location was excellent a block from the french market and the street parade a few blocks from bourbon street. Staff ex friendly... Charlene, Dave,David, mike, Jim. You'll need to meet them in person We stayed in room 310 located on the street side however we didn't hear a thing during the night .. The price was good Continental breakfast delicious. This was our first time in New Orleans. We didn't ask for a specific room just a place to stay and we were very pleased with everything. I would definitely stay here again Thank you all.
Nov. 6, 2014 : Hotel Provincial was all I expected and then some. Good location, clean and comfortable room with delightful furnishings, and beautiful courtyard for relaxing in the early evening. Staff, especially Kenny, were very helpful. Can hardly wait to return.
Nov. 4, 2014 : Great hotel, very convenient location within walking distance to everything! Staff was great, and very helpful.
Oct. 30, 2014 : We couldn't have asked for more, the staff was great the room was perfect even the location it gave us the french market on one side and bourbon on the other that put us right in the middle PERFECT PLAY TO STAY!!!!
