Nov. 6, 2014 : Having never been to New Orleans before I had no idea where to look for a hotel or, for that matter which area of the city I'd be spending much time in. A friend recommended Hotel Provincial in the French Quarter. The hotel was perfect ... full of history and character, comfortable and reasonably priced for the time of year and neighbourhood. Service was exceptional, and the room decor and furniture simply added to the overall experience. The two pools are beautiful, and the secure parking made us feel very safe. This place is excellent if you're planning on spending time in the French Quarter, being within walking distance of almost everything!

Nov. 6, 2014 : We had stayed 1 night Halloween eve the location was excellent a block from the french market and the street parade a few blocks from bourbon street. Staff ex friendly... Charlene, Dave,David, mike, Jim. You'll need to meet them in person We stayed in room 310 located on the street side however we didn't hear a thing during the night .. The price was good Continental breakfast delicious. This was our first time in New Orleans. We didn't ask for a specific room just a place to stay and we were very pleased with everything. I would definitely stay here again Thank you all.

Nov. 6, 2014 : Hotel Provincial was all I expected and then some. Good location, clean and comfortable room with delightful furnishings, and beautiful courtyard for relaxing in the early evening. Staff, especially Kenny, were very helpful. Can hardly wait to return.

Nov. 4, 2014 : Great hotel, very convenient location within walking distance to everything! Staff was great, and very helpful.

Oct. 30, 2014 : We couldn't have asked for more, the staff was great the room was perfect even the location it gave us the french market on one side and bourbon on the other that put us right in the middle PERFECT PLAY TO STAY!!!!

Oct. 30, 2014 : Quiet convenient hotel in the French Quarter. Lovely rooms and beautiful courtyards...Surrounded by multiple restaurants and just a couple of blocks from the French Market. I can't wait for another opportunity to stay here.

Oct. 28, 2014 : Just got back from a 3 night stay. The staff here is very very nice and accommodating. Our first floor room was very nice, but we were able to switch the next night to a 2nd floor on the street with no problem. The doorman is awesome (Billy I think). So very polite and helpful. This was our 2nd stay and I wouldn't hesitate to come back. Two other couples that traveled with us were also impressed. The only thing... every night we walked into the bar, the bartender announced he was closing...even during the 1st quarter of the Saints game. Bartender is a nice man...but the bar hours are limited at night. Almost like they don't want the business. Other than that... this hotel is close to perfect for us. : ) Thanks to the friendly staff. See ya next year.

Oct. 27, 2014 : Hotel Provincial never fails to impress! We asked for a 1st floor room and it was ready and waiting for us when we arrived. The valet parking is excellent. We travel across country twice a year and there are no worries about the articles left in the car. Staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. Continental breakfast is just perfect with great coffee. Room was very clean and tidy. Bartender is wonderful and can make you any drink you would like along with good conversation. Within blocks of Cafe Du Monde, French Market, Bourbon and St. Louis Square. I would recommend this Hotel to everyone.

Oct. 27, 2014 : Recently stayed there a night with the girlfriend and we both were over joyed by the friendly service, the bar, morning coffee, and gorgeous rooms and courtyard. Great for all ages. Enjoy a cigar and drink in the courtyard. The price was extremely low for how much is offered and the location. Must do!

Oct. 24, 2014 : This was our first time staying at this lovely hotel but it will NOT be the last! We will be staying here again next year on our annual trek to NOLA. This has all the feel of the French Quarter as well as old Paris (the one that does not exist anymore, alas). The courtyard is so beautiful and restful and the location of the hotel is within a nice walk to all of the "must-see" sights. The staff was absolutely superb and helped to arrange some of our sight-seeing tours & they go out of their way to make you happy that you chose their hotel. As far as we are concerned, this is the only place to stay in the French Quarter. Keep up the excellent work!

Oct. 20, 2014 : I have stayed in New Orleans for many years. I had never stayed here before but was looking for a hotel that had it's own onsite parking. I did not want my car driven blocks away to park. The hotel has it's own parking and valet attendant, who took special care with my new car, to put it in a very safe location. The entry was great. You pull up and get out. The rest is taken care of by a valet. Our room was over a very nice courtyard and had two beds, sofa, desk, chest, two chairs and coffee table. Great light from three sets of French doors. I was very pleased with our room and found everyone there nice and pleasant. There was a morning breakfast buffet which was fine. I find it hard to eat a morning buffet like this when there are so many fine restaurants in which to eat. Good start with coffee though. Very close to French Market and only about three blocks to Jackson Square. Irene's restaurant is on the corner and is an outstanding place to eat. I'll certainly stay here again.

Oct. 16, 2014 : My husband and good friends of ours spent a long weekend in New Orleans last weekend at the Provincial. We go to NOLA at least once a year and this was the first time we stayed at this hotel. It was nice, rooms are larger then most rooms in the French Quarter, we would stay there again. Very classic New Orleans feel to it, cute courtyards and lots of history. Good distance to all the main sites in the Quarter.

Oct. 15, 2014 : This hotel is beautiful, traditional and right in the French Quarter. The street itself is quite and peaceful, Walking to anything in the quarter is easy! The rooms are charming and quite clean, and the staff is very responsive to any request. We even had a medical emergency that required a late checkout on a busy day and the hotel was still able to help us. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Oct. 14, 2014 : We stay in New Orleans about 3-4 times a year. I'm only interested in French Quarter hotels and we have stayed in about 10 different ones. This place is my hands down favorite. Accessible, clean, friendly staff, rooms I don't feel claustrophobic in, a great pool, a great bar and best of all reasonable rates.

Oct. 7, 2014 : This was my second time staying at the Provincial. It is a perfect hotel in the French Quarter as it is close to the French Market, French Cafe, and Cafe Du Monde. Close to Jackson Square and pharmacies. Less than 2 blocks from the Moon Walk along the Mississippi. Rooms are very clean and well taken care of since this is a family owned hotel. They have an excellent continental breakfast. The haunted house tours stop at the hotel in the evening but I didn't have any encounters with ghosts. Also, they have the best Hurricane in the Ice House Bar and I tried them in several places.
