Apr. 3, 2014 | We had an excellent time in New Orleans French Quarter, and some of it was because of the Hotel the Provincial. The staff was warm and friendly, the room was quiet, clean and had a feeling of the French Quarter. The location to all the attractions was perfect, not more than a few very short blocks to the French Marker, Bourbon Street, Jackson Square and Royal Street. The bartender made the best Hurricane in the city, much better than Paddy O's!!! We enjoyed the light breakfast before we left on our adventures every morning. We brought our laptop to keep track of things...and the wifi in the room was very strong. We rented a car, they had great parking on site...and never used the car because everything was so close to walk to! We would absolutely recommend this hotel, and will come back in the future.
Mar. 24, 2014 | Seriously the cutest hotel. Trust me I'm a Westin/5 star kinda traveler. I was a little nervous booking this place and man was I wrong. The rooms are nice, and beds are amazing. What an amazing stay here! Can't wait to come back!!!!!
Mar. 6, 2014 | Having never been to New Orleans before we really didn't know what to expect from a hotel in the French Quarter. We did a lot of research and decided not to go with a safe "big chain" type hotel and booked the Hotel Provincial for a group of 11. Months before the trip I emailed the hotel and asked a few questions and got immediate answers. A few days before we arrived the hotel phoned to confirm our reservation. This excellent service continued once we arrived. The hotel itself is breathtaking. Incredible architecture mixed with modern upgrades. The check in was fast and friendly, a staff member showed us to our rooms and the rooms were exactly what we had asked for. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the plumbing was very modern, the courtyard pool outside our rooms was beautiful. We arrived as Mardi Gras was just getting underway and we were less than a 5 minute walk from all the action. The bar off the lobby is a quaint gathering place at night and serves as a place to get … more
Feb. 19, 2014 | Hotel Provincial is in the French Quarter, walking distance to everything. It is not the sterile highrise atmosphere of the chain hotels, which is fine with us. It has a lot of New Orleans charm and authenticity, very friendly employees who go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. The continental breakfast was excellent but my husband made the comment that there were no bananas, they had them for him that afternoon. The room was very clean and comfortable, it had a small balcony overlooking the street. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will come back again.
Feb. 18, 2014 | Best place to stay in NOLA The hotel and staff were so kind and welcoming! They were quick to suggest great spots to eat and call to make reservations. Breakfast was perfect and the setting was so beautiful. In walking distance of everything, and just a bit off the beaten path of Bourbon street, which made for a nice quiet evening. Will definitely be staying here again in the future!
Feb. 16, 2014 | Great hotel!!! The staff was great all the way around from the front desk to the valet. They were all very nice and informative. They had great suggestions for restaurants and give awesome directions. We will be back and will make it a point to stay at this hotel. It is also in the perfect location.
Jan. 28, 2014 | Amazing!!!
Jan. 27, 2014 | Wonderful and knowledgeable bartender! Lovely place!
Jan. 27, 2014 | James, at the Ice House Bar, was the best ever. Gave us some new restaurant spots and was just great. David, the valet, as usual, awesome. This is our third time here in a year and we will always be back.
Jan. 16, 2014 | Great place to stay! The rooms have been renovated and are lovely. I enjoyed its French Quarter charm. The Provincial is tucked away on a quiet street but near all the action. Loved it!
Dec. 20, 2013 | This is the second time I have stayed at the Provincial, the first being several years ago. I enjoyed my stay very much the first time, and enjoyed it perhaps even more this time. I love the character of the hotel with its several unique buildings and courtyards. I was attending a conference at the Sheraton, but there was no question in my mind that I preferred to walk to the meetings rather than to stay in the Sheraton or other nearby hotels. The heart of the French Quarter is the only place to stay. I travel frequently, but I don't think I have ever experienced better of friendly service than that at the Provincial. THANK YOU!
