Sep. 1, 2015 : We spent a whole week here and enjoyed the nice room, the helpful staff, and the amazing location. Everything you can think of is nearby and I would stay there again in a heartbeat. Angeline, right next door, is a wonderful restaurant too!
Aug. 31, 2015 : Not sure why some negative reviews are posted. My husband and I cuoldnt have been happier. In fact, we recommended my brother book a room here once he came into town a few days later and he has said that this is his new NOLA home. The staff were amazingly helpful and friendly, the place was beatuiful, pools were VERY clean, room was extremely clean and gorgeous. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The bar served delishous drinks and Angelines served remarkable food - fresh squeezed OJ and grapefruit juice and homemade sausage and hot sauce - YUMMY! We will be stating here again and in the same room. Thanks to everyone at Hotel Prov. Keep up the fantastic job!!!!
Aug. 31, 2015 : They say parts are haunted but I thought it was magical! Read up on the history and enjoy this hotel!!! Surrounded The French Market the old Ursuline Convent, Irene's, Le Croissant D'or and much more! The employs are part of the enchantment!! The restaurant on site is top notch and the drinks in the hotel bar are phenomenal!! The stay here was definitely a highlight of our visit.
Aug. 31, 2015 : Came into New Orleans last weekend to celebrate an anniversary of some very dear friends. We all stayed at the Provincial and it was terrific. Great accommodations, very fine rooms and amenities with a very helpful and courteous staff, not to mention the great food provided by the hotel for this anniversary celebration.
Aug. 31, 2015 : I absolutely loved and enjoyed staying here at the Hotel Provincial- Chartres st. Spent nearly a week here. Very beautiful place, immaculately clean, staff super friendly and helpful, within a few minutes walk to everything. I felt absolutely safe here travelling as a single lady. I highly recommend this place. THANK YOU for making my stay in New Orleans so incredibly comfortable!
Aug. 27, 2015 : The Hotel Provincial in New Orleans has long been a superb place to stay . Only a short walk to Bourbon Street, so you are out of all the noise. The rooms are beautiful and clean and the staff go out of their way to give you a wonderful memory. I have been staying at this Hotel for over 20 years and always a great experience. The restaurant Angelines next door is a very good place to eat also.
Aug. 27, 2015 : the place was walking distance to any where you want to go , the staff was very friendly and helpful, the bar was very good! the room were clean and very nice, they had two pools , it was a awesome place!
Aug. 25, 2015 : Walking distance to Jackson Square, the Cafe Du Monde and all the craziness the French Quarter has to offer. Around the corner from Irene's. Location cannot be beat. The facade may fool you because you cannot see the beautiful courtyard until you enter the property. Bar at the Hotel Provincial is friendly, calm and inviting - a nice retreat after exploring the French Quarter. Valet parking is secure behind the entry gates - again, you will not need your car because you can walk to everything. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Individual room entry is off the courtyard. A pool is also available.
Aug. 25, 2015 : We had a fabulous stay. Very New Orleans French Quarters. Food was wonderful, staff was very helpful and kind. Will definitely stay there again!
Aug. 25, 2015 : The staff couldn't be more friendly helpful. Room was great & location was perfect!
Aug. 20, 2015 : This historic hotel is located in the heart of the French Quarter, convenient and within walking distance of everything. The staff was friendly and helpful. Have been here multiple times and never disappointed. Shout out to the bellhop Dee who took amazing care of us while we were staying there!
Aug. 20, 2015 : Room and staff were great. Loved the "antique" décor, staff was also above par. Location is perfect to be close to the French Market, transportation services and attractions yet close enough to Bourbon Street to enjoy that also. If we return to NOLA we will definitely stay here.
Aug. 19, 2015 : Really nice hotel snuggled between Bourbon St and Frenchmen St, so close to all the action but on a quiet street. Rooms has a nice turn-of-century feel but with all the amenities, air conditioning and 2 nice pools. Staff was great too. We ate at the Angelina Restaurant next door, super meal; definitely going back to this place.
Aug. 10, 2015 : This is the only place we stay in New Orleans. The staff is always friendly and willing to go the extra mile to make us comfortable. It has a variety of rooms, from balcony view to courtyard view, and even a few with great views of the city and river. Recently, a new upscale restaurant, Angeline, opened on site, and they have a wonderful brunch. There is a small bar on site with the best local cocktails and two awesome bartenders. It is within walking distance to all the French Quarter has to offer, but is out of the rat race of Bourbon Street.
Jul. 30, 2015 : This hotel really complements the vibe of New Orleans. Situated in the French Quarters, near Cafe Du Monde (never gets old), and with hospitable service, Hotel Provincial is a must-go whenever heading down to New Orleans. When staying at this place, I recommend their "best in New Orleans" Bloody Mary to drink while laying comfortably in a lounge chair near their pool. And if you're not happy with the first pool, there's even a second smaller pool in it's own private location. That's something I've never seen before. The rooms were very comfortable and had enough space to satisfy. Unfortunately, while staying there, there was a problem with the water system. Almost the whole town had to resort to bottled water. Although some places gave us the tap water, the hotel staff quickly gave us four water bottles to brush our teeth with and drink as an extra precaution, showing reassuringly that the staff really cares about its clients. I'm definitely heading back whenever I return to New Orleans
