Jul. 25, 2016 : I would highly recommend this hotel if you're staying in New Orleans. Very nice staff and in walking distance to everything you wanna see. We would stay again!
Jul. 25, 2016 : The hotel is in a great location. We could walk to everything in the French Quarter. The staff is great. They were always helpful and friendly. We had a late flight on the day we checked-out and the staff offered to hold our luggage so we could explore the city hassle free. The hotel is clean and updated without sacrificing the New Orleans authenticity. One of the best hotels in the city.
Jul. 25, 2016 : Wonderful service and super friendly!!
Jul. 25, 2016 : With rooms reminiscent of a bed and breakfast, the atmosphere was perfect for our trip to New Orleans. Perfectly located in the French Quarter, this hotel is one of the best values we have found. Very clean with friendly helpful staff. Would stay here again.
Jul. 25, 2016 : Staff is excellent! Rooms have a special character you can't get at a chain hotel. Love the atmosphere!...
Jul. 14, 2016 : Nice rooms staff was very nice a nice piece of New Orleans history
Jul. 14, 2016 : We have stayed at the Hotel Provincial many times and we are never disappointed. The rooms are updated tastefully and are charming. We really loved the 400 block. The bar tender was a joy and the staff who park and retrieve cars are cheerful and fast. A request to the front desk staff was handled graciously and in a timely manner. You can't beat the location either - in a quiet spot in the French Quarter but only a couple of blocks from Frenchmen Street and Jackson Square.
Jul. 13, 2016 : Short trip to Nola to eat and drink. Great stay. Provincial is very nice.
Jul. 13, 2016 : EVERY employee we encountered was extremely nice and eager to please!. Special props to our valet, Brandon! This is not the case in a lot of places in the French Quarter. The room was clean and got daily maid service. We were within 2 blocks from Jackson Square, Bourbon St, the French Market, the Mississippi River, and hundreds of bars and restaurants with free live bands. It had lots of beautiful antiques throughout. It was very quiet when we were there the first week of July. I was more than pleased! And the price wasn't bad either!
Jul. 11, 2016 : We went to this hotel for our honeymoon and had a wonderful time! It was in great placement to the french quarter and you are right behind the french market. The staff was friendly and helpful! They have a pool, which was great because the weather was extremely hot! It's in a great section of NOLA where you are close to all the action, but don't have to hear all the noise that can be associated with the city. Would highly recommend to others!
Jul. 11, 2016 : Stayed at this hotel for a girlfriend weekend. Hotel was clean and beds were very comfortable. They have a lovely courtyard with a fountain. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Their bar made delicious Hurricane's. Better then anything you'll find on Bourbon Street. There are multiple buildings for the hotel set in a square. In the middle is the courtyard, pool and parking. They close their gate at 10:30pm and you have to show your room key to the attendant to get in. What a great safety feature! It made me feel safer about the hotel and my car. Hotel is about 2 blocks to Jackson Square, 3 blocks to Cafe DuMonde and just a couple of blocks the other way to Bourbon Street. This hotel is on a quiet street so I think any room you get will be quiet. Looking forward to coming back to New Orleans and staying there again!
Jul. 11, 2016 : One of the best hotels we ever been to. If anyone comes to New Orleans and needs a hotel please come here. Service is very friendly, 2 pools (one is hidden away ) and very convenient to everything fun for both family and adults. Did I mention that the 500 building mainly the second floor is HAUNTED!!!
Jul. 11, 2016 : Very nice hotel for the price, in the heart of the French Quarter. Excellent location, nice room, two pools, restaurant and other amenities. Best part was the friendly staff! Jim and Trudy were terrific, but none there more personable than the valet/bellhop David. What a gentleman who was so accommodating, informative and friendly to everyone. I will certainly return to this hotel. As convenient as the Omni, but a third the price.
Jul. 11, 2016 : Stayed at the Provincial July 4-7, and had a wonderful time. Beautiful and historic, our room was clean, the hotel pool nice, and a prohibition-style bar to have a drink. Upon arriving at the hotel at 11am, they let us check in early and directed us towards a pharmacy due to my toothache(ugh!). The staff were so kind and gave great advice for restaurants, etc. David is a really nice valet, and helpful with bags and food ideas as well. I would not hesitate staying here again. Also-air conditioner ran just fine the entire length of our 3 night stay in 100+degree weather!! ***Also, we stayed in building 500 and didn't see any ghosts.
Jul. 11, 2016 : I shared a double bedded room for a long weekend meeting in New orleans the last weekend in June. Our room was comfortable and well located next to the pool on the courtyard. The hotel has two pools, which is nice after a hot outdoor summer day in New Orleans. Some of the rooms are upstairs around the courtyard so ask where you will be located if you need to be on a first floor or need an elevator. The hotel is near lots of attractions in the French Quarter without being in the noisy part of the quarter. Also near Frenchman St. for good jazz music in the evening. helpful staff. parking fee if you have a car- so figure that into your budget. Would happily stay here again.
