You couldn’t ask for better scenery.

If you’re an NBA fan, then there will be no better place to be on Feb. 16 then the NBA All-Star Games at the New Orleans Arena. Home of the New Orleans Pelicans, the Arena will host some of the biggest names in the game that night, topping off a full NBA All Star Weekend. That's right - there is a whole weekend of events. Starting Feb. 14, NBA fans can see their favorite players in a skills challenge, slam dunk contest, three-point contest and more.  The legue's brightest young stars will even be competing against each other in a Rising Stars Challenge. It will be a great weekend of watchign NBA stars, topped off witht he big All Stars game on Sunday.

Mardi Gras

It’s Carnival season! The entire month of February will be filled with Mardi Gras celebrations leading up to Fat Tuesday, which is March 4.  Krewes will be parading through Uptown and the French Quarter.  Set up camp on St. Charles Ave with the family and catch some great throws.

The most action-packed weekend will be the last weekend in Feburary, starting on the 28th. That's the last weekend before Fat Tuesday, and the city will be full of people celebrating.

Needless to say, February is a great time to visit New Orleans.  No matter what event you’re interested in attending in February, we guarantee you’ll have a good time.  Since we’re located right in the French Quarter, we’re in the middle of it all.  The great thing about staying with us is that you’re almost always walking to distance or a streetcar ride away from whatever you want to go to.
