Feb. 22, 2018 : This is our 4th time staying at this hotel. We fell in love with it the first time. The employees, are always courteous and the grounds are always beautifully manicured and secure. We always drive down, so the location is wonderful to walk, to everything
Feb. 22, 2018 : I'm not sure how I missed this hotel throughout my/our many trips to NOLA but this has become my new #1 spot. Location is great, staff is extremely friendly and helpful and the libation BOGO card is the cream on the creole. BTW did I mention how amazing the sunrise on the Mississippi River is? If you can drag it out if be (or just open your eyes) in time. We'll keep that our little secret. Now ya'll come on down and try to have as great a time as we did. Goin to New Orleans.........
Feb. 22, 2018 : We stayed two nights here and three nights at the W. Wish we stayed all 5 nights here! Loved this side of the French quarter, closer to Frenchmen street. All around better experience than the W. Better room, better service, better location
Feb. 20, 2018 : Stayed here over Mardi Gras. An excellent choice. Our room had a view of The Mississippi River. The staff members were friendly and helpful. Loved the Ice House Bar-- superb Hurricane!! We will stay at The Provincial on our next visit to New Orleans.
Feb. 19, 2018 : Love the quaint hotel. Close proximity to everything -Jackson Square, Bourbon Street & fine restaurants. A jewel in a big city. We would recommend this place. Have used it each time we visit this town.
Feb. 19, 2018 : We went the week before Mardi Gras was in full swing. Our room was small and quaint (European style), with plenty of room for two. The staff was friendly and helpful, including the onsite bartender. The hotel encompasses several buildings that form a cubed courtyard with limited parking. There is only one entrance/exit for vehicles. The buildings we investigated each had outdoor seating, but it was too cold to enjoy sitting outside (I'll have to go back when it's warm). We stayed at the back, with the French Market outside our window. It wasn't noisy, and it was nice to have music in the mornings. Many shops and eateries are within walking distance. The area was pretty quiet, but we didn't have to go far to get into the bustle of New Orleans. We had no trouble quickly obtaining Lyft drivers when we needed a ride. I will definitely keep Hotel Provincial on my list
Feb. 19, 2018 : Excellent room. Just like at home. Comfy bed. Mini fridge. Flat screen tv. Short walk to bourbon street, French market, Jackson square, and parades that come down canal street. Many restaurants and shopping in walking distance as well. Highly recommended!!
Feb. 19, 2018 : We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The rooms were nice and clean and the location was perfect. I can’t say enough about how fantastic the staff is at this hotel. They made us feel so welcome and really went out of their way to help us with any needs we had! I highly recommend this hotel!
Jan. 31, 2018 : This is a charming hotel. It's kept up to date and provides a feeling of luxury. And they go out of their way to make sure you are happy and comfortable. AND it's well located so you can walk all over the Quarter and beyond.
Jan. 30, 2018 : Being a live music fan, I often stay here as it is just downriver from Jackson Square and a short walk to Frenchmen and Bourbon streets. Lots of great restaurants and food places are an easy walk away including Verte Marti, Clover Griil, and many others. Lafitte's Blacksmith Shop is just up the street, too. The Riverfront and North Rampart streetcars are a 5 minute walk and are a great and cheap way to explore areas outside the Quarter.
Jan. 29, 2018 : Absolutely beautiful little hotel. Perfect area too. Room was cozy and opened up to the street which was fun. Walking distance to all the major streets in the French quarter and Jackson Square. Loved everything about the hotel. Will definitely be coming back!
Jan. 29, 2018 : Lovely, charming hotel tucked away in quiet yet well situated part of French Quarter. European feel. Friendly staff. Highly recommend for those interested in a true Nola experience. Classic French Quarter architecture.
Jan. 24, 2018 : Great service, friendly staff and comfortable room. Location perfect, part of the Quarter but tranquil setting. We were there during an icy cold snap and water problem for the region. Hotel staff handled it efficiently and with aplomb. Didn’t miss a beat in terms of service
Jan. 24, 2018 : Despite a broken water main break & city wide issues as a result, the staff at Hotel Provincial could not have been nicer or more accommodating. I’m impressed by their ability to keep calm and smile through an unexpected and unprecedented issue. We left saying “they are sooo nice! We HAVE to come back!” I would recommend warmer weather to take advantage of the courtyard.
Jan. 18, 2018 : My experience was amazing as I felt the hospitality and quality customer service of the staff. My room was clean and cleaned each day to perfection. Each day I had questions about where to go and how to get there, the staff was always ready to assist me. I enrolled in a cooking class within walking distance that was fantastic, dinned at delicious restaurants within walking distance, extensive shopping around the corner, down and up the street, which was so nice and easy on the feet!!! The courtyard in the middle of the hotel with flowing fountains and lights at night was a great atmosphere to wind down at night with a refreshing beverage or a morning refreshing beverage in the morning
