Mar. 6, 2017 : Stayed at Hotel Provincial again, this is my third time and as always it was amazing . The is a beautiful boutique hotel and the staff are always very very friendly. The location is perfect. I'm within walking distance of everything in the French Quarter. I'm already planning my trip next year and once again I will stay here. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.
Mar. 3, 2017 : My husband and I loved this hotel! It is so charming, and the people there are so kind and helpful. I would recommend it to anyone. Most comfortable beds I've ever had in a hotel! We will definitely stay here again
Mar. 2, 2017 : Its a small property which sits in the French Quarter. Spent 4 nights and although 2 blocks from everything there was little noise to none. The room was quaint beds are comfortable bathroom was modern. Staff was a pleasure to speak w/on daily basis. Terry (bellman) was always letting us know parade information to when the gates closed. The "Ice House" does make the best Hurricanes in town. YUM!
Mar. 2, 2017 : Pleasantly surprised by Hotel Provincial. The staff were all pleasant even with the chaos of Mardi Gras. Room was clean and comfortable. Lots of character in the old buildings and they have done a great job of combining modern amenities without destroying the old world charm.
Mar. 1, 2017 : We had a family rendezvous in New Orleans. My sister picked out Hotel Provincial for the location and great price. It is just 2 blocks from Jackson Square. It is in a renovated historic two story building. Our ground floor room was very nice with an updated bathroom. Everyone of the staff was very friendly and helpful. There is a small bar in the lobby and a very nice courtyard. The cost was very reasonable for the great location and superior condition of this hotel.
Feb. 24, 2017 : Very nice rooms in the heart of the French Quarter, and an easy walk to Jackson Square, Cafe Du Monde, and Frenchman Street to see great music. The hotel staff was also very friendly and helpful. We loved staying at Hotel Provincial and would highly recommend it, especially during Mardi Gras season.
Feb. 23, 2017 : The room was clean and super comfortable. Everything worked well. The staff was friendly. The bar had a nice happy hour. The location was great - close enough to be easy to get to the action but far enough to be quiet while you're trying to sleep. The courtyard was enjoyable. The wifi worked great (but does require you to log in way too often). The bathrooms were large and clean. The pool was *very* cold (probably the only negative thing we have to say about the place). We would definitely stay again!
Feb. 21, 2017 : This hotel had the perfect New Orleans charm. The room was updated, comfortable, reasonably priced, and (most importantly) clean. It was also a convenient walking distance to everything in the French Quarter, which was great because we opted not to rent a car. The staff was friendly and helpful. Had no problems answering any questions we had. The front desk even offered to split the bill equally between my friend and myself - something I've never come across before. The Ice House Bar had very friendly bartenders and some delicious signature drinks.
Feb. 20, 2017 : Convenient to many Quarter top spots, very pleasant and helpful staff, clean and comfortable facilities, would certainly return
Feb. 20, 2017 : Everything about this hotel was lovely. The room was quaint, clean and comfortable. It was quiet, even thought it faced Decatur. Staff was wonderful, especially Jerome and Mike who gave great recommendations for dining. And .... the best Hurricanes in town, by their own admission.
Feb. 20, 2017 : Great location, customer service, and beautiful rooms. The room we stayed in had high ceilings and southern charm. The bell hops assisted us to our room and parked our car. The check in was quick and efficient. All employees were friendly. The hotel is a few blocks from Bourbon St. And shopping district by the river. I loved it!!
Feb. 13, 2017 : Very nice old hotel - but updated. Excellent customer service at front desk. Nice bar off lobby. Several Bfast cafes within block or two. It's a few blocks from the Bourbon street noise and activity so is nice and quiet at night. Good bathrooms, beds and pillows.
Feb. 13, 2017 : This was my third visit to the Provincial and will not be the last. Love the location, and the staff is extremely accommodating. The rooms are comfortable, and there have been some recent upgrades making the stay even easier (i.e. refrigerators and safes). A great choice for a boutique hotel in the middle of the French Quarter
Feb. 9, 2017 : We stayed there in January and as a last minute reservation in a city where everything was booked, I was worried there was something wrong with this place. We were so pleasantly surprised. The staff is clearly interested in you and your experience, the buildings are exactly what an old La. hotel should look like. Our room was on the top floor of the south building and the staff was more than helpful in getting our luggage to the room. The onsite restaurant is well above average and again some of the friendliest, helpful people in town.We had a room with views out to the city, the river and the square, very spacious with a sitting room and a bed room. Huge closets and every detail had been attended to. A true gem in New Orleans and next time we will check with them first
Feb. 8, 2017 : Just got home from a road trip to new Orleans where we stayed at the Hotel Provincial. The entire experience was superb with the accommodations highlighting the experience. The room and bed were very comfortable, the garden was lovely to sit in at the start and end of the days and the staff absolutely first rate. The location left nothing to be desired. A short walk to the river, Bourbon St and Frenchmen's St. We really enjoyed our stay and will not hesitate to return both to NOLA and this hotel.
