On August 10, 2019, doctors, lawyers and Mardi Gras Indian chiefs will don their best red dresses and hit the streets of New Orleans running. It’s the 25th Annual Red Dress Run hosted by the Hash House Harriers – “a drinking club with a running problem.”
The two-mile race through the French Quarter and the Marigny/Bywater begins at 11:30 a.m. at an undisclosed location (you have to register to find out where), but the beer begins flowing at 9:30 a.m. The after party, of course, will take place on Bourbon Street.
You must be 21 to register but you don’t necessarily have to run to join in the fun. Proceeds go to local charities so on your mark, get set, go register.
Stay with us for the fun!
