Celebrate September in NOLA
Most of the time, we’re not into social media holidays, but we’ll make an exception for September. Why not spend #NationalWildlifeDay on the 4th with a swamp tour in New Orleans, or #NationalBeerLoversDay on the 7th here with us at the Ice House Bar? There’s also National #TalkLikeAPirateDay on the 19th. We can’t think of a better day to have a Voodoo Daiquiri (a.k.a. The Purple Drank) at Jean Lafitte’s Blacksmith Shop, just a short 4-minute walk from Hotel Provincial.

Southern Decadence Festival, Sept. 3-7
Southern Decadence is held annually in New Orleans over Labor Day. More than 160,000 LGBTQ travelers and their friends come down for parades, pool parties, gay history walking tours, drag shows and general revelry.
NOLA River Fest, Sept. 12
The 12th annual NOLA River Festival celebrates the cultural, economic, environmental, and inspirational impacts of the Mississippi River and its inhabitants. This free event at the New Orleans Jazz Museum runs from 11 a.m. to 6 p.. and will include live music, presentations and panels, local food and more.
Saints Games, Sept. 13, 20 & 27
The Saints will take on the Detroit Lions on September 13 and the Baltimore Ravens on September 2oth (both on the road) before coming hom to New Orleans for the season opener against the Las Vegas Reaiders in the Caesars Superdome. Come join the fun either at the Dome or with us here in the Ice House Bar.

Come celebrate New Orleans at iconic music venues all across the city. There will be a diverse lineup of both local and national artists in town.
Dolly Day Parade, Sept. 25
Join the Krewe of Dolly as they honor the late and great Dolly Parton with a parade from Armstrong Park through the French Quarter and ending at the New Orleans Jazz Museum. The Krewe will meet at 4:00 PM and begin walking at 5:00 PM. The party to follow will be at the New Orleans Jazz Museum starting at 6:00 PM.
