Summer May Be Ending But the Fun is Just Beginning
Southern Decadence, August 29 – September 1, 2025

For more than 50 years, Southern Decadence, one of the top five largest events in New Orleans, has taken place every Labor Day Weekend. Also known as the “Gay Mardi Gras” and “our Pride Week,” Southern Decadence is the largest LGBT party of the year. Attendees typically arrive on the Wednesday before Labor Day and stay till the following Tuesday.

There will be parties all over the French Quarter. Then on Sunday, head down to the annual Southern Decadence Parade.
