Last Minute Getaways: Halloween & VooDoo Fest

For all of you that like to wait to the last minute to plan, I have lots of good news for you.

The first is that Hotel Provincial still has rooms available for Halloween night.

The second is that we have rooms available for this weekend, which isn’t just any ol' weekend. This weekend is Voodoo Fest, one of the nation’s premier music festivals.

Halloween in New Orleans is a festive celebration. Be sure to pack a costume because everyone else in the French Quarter will be dressed up. Plan on taking a tour of the French Quarter’s haunted spots or explore the cemeteries with a guide and learn about the city’s past.  It’s one of those nights that you’ll have to see to believe.

Voodoo Fest 2013 includes international legends like Pearl Jam, Nine Inch Nails and The Cure. The lineup also includes icons like the Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Glen David Andrews and none other than Dr. John. If you’re a fan of music, this is a festival that you don’t want to miss out on.

If you’re thinking about coming down to New Orleans for Halloween or Voodoo Fest, don’t wait long. While we have hotel rooms available now, I can’t promise that they’ll stay unreserved for long.
