Bayou Bacchanal, Nov. 1 & 2
Come celebrate Caribbean culture and heritage at Bayou Bacchanal, the original Caribbean Carnival of New Orleans. There will be Caribbean cuisine, dance and music at this event in Armstrong Park. Presented by Friends of Culture.
Treme Creole Gumbo Festival, Nov. 9
This free celebration in Louis Armstrong Park features the music, food and dance that made New Orleans famous. Come get your gumbo on!
Saint Vs. Falcons, Nov. 10
Join us in New Orleans this month to watch the Saints bake the Dirty Birds in the Caesars Superdome.
Oak Street Po-Boy Festival, Nov. 19
Head Uptown this November to help us celebrate the po-boy! This beloved festival offers live music, arts & crafts and all your favorite varieties of po-boys or some that soon will be.
Luna Fête, Nov. 14-17
This free festival lights up the city from Gallier Hall to the Piazza d’Italia. Come see a playground of light with LED lights, lasers, and projected artworks.
Beignet Fest, Nov. 16
This sweet festival in City Park features dozens of different kinds of beignet dishes, y live music, a Kids Village, an Artist Market, a Beer Garden and more.
Sober Fest, Nov. 23
For the third year in a row, this family-friendly festival will celebrate alcohol-free fun at the Sugar Mill. The line-up includes Ivan Neville & Friends, Anders Osborne, Jason Ricci & The Bad Kind, and the Trombone Shorty Academy.
Celebration in the Oaks, Nov. 23-Dec. 30
More than 165,000 visitors make their way to historic City Park every year for Celebration in the Oaks, a magical winter spectacle. Nothing says it’s holiday time in New Orleans like centuries-old live oaks swathed in hundreds of thousands of twinkling lights. Light displays of all kinds are scattered throughout 25 acres of the City Park, including the Botanical Garden, Storyland, and Carousel Gardens Amusement Park.
Bayou Classic, Nov. 30
The legendary rivalry between Grambling State and Southern University has been taking place since the 1930s. Nowadays, it’s held the Saturday after Thanksgiving in the Caesars Superdome and includes a parade, fan festivals, a career fair and a not-to-be-missed battle of the bands.
