French Toast, a new offering from Cara and Evan Benson's Toast family, is now getting rave reviews from Hotel Provincial guests.
French Toast’s menu includes crepes (both savory and sweet), toasts (the avocado & sunny egg toast is TDF), as well as omelets. There are also delicious breakfast sandwiches like Fried Chicken, Pickles & Spicy Mayo on a Biscuit, and entrees such as Catfish with Grits, Eggs and Tarragon Aioli (yum).
The restaurant’s signature Aebelskivers (puffed pancakes with powdered sugar) are also on the menu. You can have them topped with lemon curd, Nutella, caramel, chocolate, jam or maple syrup.
Of course, you can’t name a restaurant French Toast without having a selection on your menu. You’ll have a hard time choosing between the classic version topped with berries, powdered sugar and maple syrup; the coconut-cream stuffed French toast served with bruleed pineapple, candied macadamia nuts, lemon curd and maple syrup; or a king cake French toast stuffed with cinnamon cream cheese topped with Mardi Gras-colored sprinkles.
