Bob Dylan famously said, “I like a lot of places but I like New Orleans better.”
Well, there are many hotels to like in New Orleans, too, but our guests will tell you they like Hotel Provincial better. Maybe it’s because our hotel has been owned and operated by the same family, the Dupepes, since day one, more than 60 years now. Or maybe it’s our location in the quieter residential section of the French Quarter yet still only two blocks from Jackson Square, Bourbon Street, the French Market, Frenchman Street, and the Mississippi River. Or maybe it’s our guest rooms. There’s nothing like slow dancing on a New Orleans balcony. And then there are our pools and our iconic courtyards. The perfect places to unwind after a day of exploring our 300-year-old city. Maybe it’s the Ice House Bar. Is there a better hurricane in the city? We’ve been told no. For many, what makes Hotel Provincial one of a kind is Honfleur, our wedding, event, and meeting space.
New Orleans-born musician Harry Connick once said, “I love New York, I love Paris, San Francisco, so many places. But there's no place like New Orleans.”
And there’s no place in the New Orleans French Quarter like Hotel Provincial.
